We've all by now have seen the oil in the Gulf. It looks like a thick red substance when the sun is shining on it. I was listening to a Scientist on CNN a short while ago and he's saying it kills the plankton.... Okay, as a 3rd Grade teacher, I know if you kill the beginning of the Food Web the rest of the animals are sure to follow!
