[quote:Anonymous Coward 956226:MV8xMDYxNDg5XzE2ODUzODY0X0IyRUM2QkJF] [quote:Anonymous Coward 929725] It looks like the shadow of the MIG to me, it wavers as it goes over the clouds. It "sped up" because the angle of the MIG to the sun changed. I was just about to post that it doesn't look like an object - it looks like a shadow of an object. You can see it's image waver as it goes over the different surfaces of the clouds. Or the UFO had cloaking technology. yeah let's just go with that. first, its impossible to have that consistent a shadow over clouds without any distortion (ie elongating, shape distortions, spreading out), even on most uniform clouds, leave aside the scattered cluster there is. furthermore, the 'shadow' is way higher than any nearby cloud. second, a shadow, nomatter what happens, does NOT move in a uniform, consistent shape when its object changes location. especially if it is being cast over a non uniform backgorund. third, and most importantly, for that to be a shadow of a mig and STILL move that way, that mig would have to be able to stand still in air, and then speed up, due to the above factors. that itself would be a far bigger x-rate phenomenon than an ufo - that kind of hover technology in 1960s.
Watch it again - the image does distort quite severely as it travels over the different surfaces. It also looks opaque - you can see the clouds changing through it. the only ?? is you can still see it in open sky (i.e. not a shadow / visible only over clouds). Pretty much ghost-like.
