[quote:Oly 867631:MV8xMDYyOTY3XzE2ODc2NDcxX0YwNDM4MkQz] Make raised beds from untreated lumber, 2X4s and 4X4s. Leave enough room to walk and sit between the beds. Forget the tires, Trinity uses them and look what it's done to him........ [/quote]

Ok. I had my mind all set to try to garden foods this year. The tire stacking idea was the way I was going to go but after thinking about it.
I hate the aesthetic look of tires even the painting I know will fit my yard decor.
Plus, I'm not sure I want the rubber chemicals leeching into my food.
So, I was trying to think of a cheap alternative that looks nice.
Any ideas for inexpensive planting containers? Recycled items would be great but I want them to look nice!
Garbage cans, meh.
