North Korea will convene a surprise parliamentary session next month amid fears that tensions over the sinking of a South Korean warship will reignite Cold War confrontation.
The Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) will meet on June 7 in Pyongyang, the official Korean Central News Agency said on Tuesday without giving a reason.
