So many people forget to do this. Alcohol has a lot of different uses. You can obviously drink it (and we'll probably all need a drink when TSHTF), but you can also use it to sterilize wounds, you can burn it if you need to start a fire for warmth/cooking, and if it's good booze you could use it to trade for other goods.
Vodka is the most versatile, but gin, whiskey, scotch, rum, tequila, etc. all work as well. They essentially keep forever as long as it's over 40% alcohol or so, so you don't need to worry about it spoiling either.
