Senator George LeMieux [is]… worried about a danger that’s been hidden so far and is starting to come to the surface.
Senator LeMieux arrived at Bay County’s Emergency Operations Center after an aerial tour of waters off Pensacola Beach…and the news he shared with local officials was not good. The senator says he spotted a plume of thick oil two miles wide and 40 miles long that came to the surface from the bottom of the Gulf.
