Original Message After staying up late last night and having done much research this is what I think (and mind you I am a writer/researcher NOT a geologist or oil specialist) I do not have the wonderful mechanics of the oil spill down like SHR (BTW thanks SHR for your work on this, my husband and I read your entire last post)

Here is what I think has happened and what we should be DEMANDING NOW-

1) BP has drilled so deep that we may have hit what's called
abiotic oil (google this an you will find lots of info)

2) If we are indeed seeing "abiotic oil" from the leak my thought is that capturing and analyzing this would certainly show what the properties of the leaking oil are (I'm sure BP has done this)

3) I believe that knowing what ahead lies is in finding out WHAT IS REALLY IN THE OIL. To that end I think we, the AMERICAN PEOPLE, have a right to know and should demand FULL DISCLOSURE ON WHAT IS REALLY IN THAT OIL. To get a true read on the properties of the oil it would need to be analyzed from the oil that's coming straight out of the leak, not once it's on the surface. Because Corexit is being used we need to know what's in it BEFORE COREXIT is added to the mix.

4) There are reports of sickness in the gulf. I believe that this sickness could be caused by the compounds in the oil. I'm not even sure that it's caused just by the Corexit. This is why it's VITAL that we know what's in the original oil. THIS SHOULD BE MADE PUBLIC AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!

We all know that there has been a mass coverup about the oil spill. We all know that people are getting sick. We have the right to know what we are facing and the government has a responsibility to demand BP be forthright and let us know what's in the oil so we can make decisions regarding our families. BP has no right to hide this information.

Scientists have been puzzled about the "reddish" color of the oil. I think it's reddish because it's a different type of oil. This would also explain BP's reluctance to let people/journalists/ etc be out and about the oil.
They know it's some sick stuff.

It's time they FULLY DISCLOSED TO US what we are facing.
And also the reports of toxins in the air should be made public on every billboard,website and paper and ON BP'S WEBSITE! The gulf dwellers, ESPECIALLY, have a right to know what they are breathing and what the future holds for them.
