Rockhead, I DO have faith, but my definition of faith is much different than yours.  My faith is based on only two commandments” “Love God” and “Treat others as you want to be treated”.  When my friend Jesus said “faith in me”, Jesus was talking EXACTLY about the definition of “faith” that I have listed above.

You, on the other hand, disregard the message of the man you call “savior”, and, instead, adopt a definition of “faith” provided by Jesus’ murderer, Saul.  Your definition of “faith” requires you to believe in an impossible event that allegedly occurred almost 2,000 years ago, and that has no relevance to us.  Your reason for adopting this “faith”, is your fear of eternal torment (Isn’t that right, Jeff?).

Yes, Rockhead, I AM trying to shake those who have adopted the definition of “faith” provided by Saul, in favor of the definition of “faith” provided by Jesus.

Rockhead, the following Biblical passages reflect the “faith” that I have found in my friend Jesus:
   -  Love God (Old Testament required followers to FEAR God).
   -  Love your neighbor.
   -  God’s ENTIRE law, is derived from these first two commandments.
   -  Everyone is your neighbor (Parable of the Prodigal Son).
   -  Judge not, lest ye be judged (“Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”).
   -  Render unto Caesar, that which is Caesar’s (This statement from God was NOT an endorsement of government; instead, God was instructing his followers to not fight battles that they could not win.).
   -  Love your enemy (which I REALLY think that God meant, “Respect your enemy.”).
   -  It is not what goes into a man that defiles a man, it is what comes out of a man that defiles a man (Jesus was in favor of legalizing pot!  Hooray!!!).
   -  When you pray, go home, go into a closet, shut the door, and pray to your father, who is in secret.
   -  “Eye for an eye”, is wrong.
   -  The requirement to make oaths to God, comes from evil.
   -  The requirement to stone adulterers to death, is wrong.
   -  Life ain’t fair!!  Deal with it!!  This axiom was demonstrated in two parables: The Prodigal Son; and the parable of the vineyard worker who labored 12 hours for a denarius, while other workers were paid the same denarius for only one hour’s work.
   -  Moses’ 10 Commandments can’t gain you eternal life.  God sent this message in Matthew, Ch 19, verses 16 – 22, when Jesus told a man who had followed the 10 Commandments, that he had not earned eternal life.
   -  God’s REAL’ 2 Commandments, CAN gain you eternal life.  God demonstrated this axiom in Luke, Ch 10, verses 25-28, when Jesus confirmed that an adherence to God’s TWO Commandments, CAN get you eternal life.

7808, this may be disappointing for you to hear, but I ain’t followin’ nobody.  I challenge you to find any other reference that claims:
   -  Jesus was real (although, admittedly, Jesus was probably not his real name).
   -  Jesus was not Christ.
   -  John the Baptist may have been “Jesus”.
   -  The Resurrection was faked by the Sanhedrin.
   -  Saul, a member of the Sanhedrin that planned and financed the murder of Jesus, may be the most evil person in the history of mankind.
   -  The Sanhedrin was the first century Mossad.
   -  1 Corinthians, Ch 5, v 5, may be the most evil passage in the history of mankind.
   -  Matthew is the cover up Gospel.  Matthew had to insert LIES in his Gospel to cover up the truth about Jesus.
   -  The first 9 verses of the oldest surviving Gospel, Mark, proclaim Jesus to be a sinner.
   -  The ending of the Gospel of Mark was stolen by Mark.
   -  The Gospel of Mark was not written by Mark; instead, it was written by a committee that was chaired by Mark.
   -  Half of the “Gospel of Mark” committee (the good half), was slaughtered by the church, when Mark stole the ending to his Gospel.  The church couldn’t afford to have any good guys hangin’ around, who knew what the ending really said.

7808, I have a simple mind.  I have a difficult time understanding that last statement (and I read it 3 times!!!).  However, I am a big believer that an understanding of God and the Bible, is designed for simple minds like mine.

The truth and the lies in the Bible are right out in the open for everyone to see.  The reason that very few people can differentiate between the truth and the lies, is FEAR.  If you ever lose your fear of the Bible, as God commanded you to do, the Bible will take on a whole new meaning.

Noe~Lot, I take exception to this claim.  The Gospel of Mark may be easy to understand, but Christians find it impossible to ACCEPT.  The Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as a sinner, a man who could make mistakes, and a man who called himself “not good”.  Christians ALWAYS reference the later Gospels when faced with these difficult (for them, not for me) concepts.

Furthermore, Noe~Lot, I claim that Mark has much more authority than any of the other 4 Gospels.  It was FIRST!  Mark is the smoking gun of the Gospels.  Matthew and Luke COPIED from Mark.  Whenever there is a difference between Mark and the other Gospels, I always opt for the Mark version.

John, the latest of the Canonical Gospels, portrays a Jesus that is totally unlike the Jesus in any of the other three Gospels.  For instance, in the Gospel of John, Jesus mentions himself quite often.  In the other Gospels, Jesus rarely mentions himself.

I have rejected the entire Gospel of John, except for Chapter 8, which was not written by John.

Yes, Believer, I have indeed turned by back on Saul, the murderer of my friend, Jesus, who instructs his followers to drink Jesus’ blood, eat Jesus’ flesh, worship the murder weapon of Jesus (the cross), and call the day of Jesus’ murder “good”.

You see, Believer, I don’t accept a “dead in my sins” explanation from an asshole like Saul, who instructed his church members to “destroy the flesh” of one of their members (1 Corinthians, Ch 5, verse 5).

Instead, I choose to follow the words of my friend Jesus, who told me that a belief in the Resurrection is NOT REQUIRED to inherit eternal life.  My friend Jesus told me that the ONLY requirements for eternal life, are that I follow God’s TWO commandments (Luke, Ch 10, verses 25-28).

If you want to hand your soul over to Jesus’ murderer, I’m not going to stop you, but I think it’s a shame.

According to the Gospel of Mark, the oldest and most authentic Gospel, NOBODY saw a resurrected Jesus.

All that was witnessed, was an empty tomb.

The only people who saw the empty tomb were the 3 chicks: Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome.

Not only DIDN’T these chicks witness the resurrected Jesus, they kept the whole affair a SECRET. They didn’t even tell anyone that they had SEEN an empty tomb!!

Here are the last authentic words from the Gospel of Mark, Ch 16, v8:
“and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.”

In other words, according to the Gospel of Mark, NOBODY KNEW that Jesus was Resurrected when it happened.

MISSING ENDING OF MARK

Many of you will point to Mark, Ch 16, verses 9 –20, as authority for witnesses to a resurrected Jesus; however, the problem with these verses, is that Biblical experts agree that these verses are not authentic. They were added long after the ORIGINAL Gospel was penned.

To further complicate the matter, Biblical experts also agree that Mark originally DID have verses that extended beyond Chapter 16, verse 8, but the AUTHENTIC ending to Mark is missing! The church stole the ending to this Gospel, and the church has kept this ending hidden from you for the last 1,940 years.

CONJECTURE #1
Does the original, “missing” ending to Mark, tell of witnesses to the resurrected Jesus???
Answer: Obviously not, or the church would have allowed the ending to remain.

CONJECTURE #2
Can we use the later versions of Mark, or the Gospel of Matthew, which was written 10 years later, to fill in the holes that were created by the theft of the ending of Mark???
Answer: Obviously not, because the church HAS allowed these endings to survive.

CONJECTURE #3
Then what information was really in the ORIGINAL ending the Gospel of Mark?
Answer: I don’t know, and I’d love to find out! Here are four wild guesses:
- Story dealing with the humanity of Jesus.
- Story contradicting the resurrected Jesus.
- Story showing the Pharisee Saul in a disparaging light.
- Story showing the Jewish leaders in a disparaging light, possibly severe enough to cause repercussions against the Jews (maybe even leading to the Great Diaspora).

DISCUSSION

The release of the Gospel of Mark, in 65 AD, was the most profound event in the history of mankind. For the first time in history, the TRUE LAWS of God, “Love God” and “Treat others as you want to be treated”, were revealed to man. These laws REPLACED the 10 Commandments, which had been written by Satan.

To this day, the church does NOT want its followers to read the Gospel of Mark, the Gospel with the most “disturbing” Jesus stories.

The very first 9 verses of this very first Gospel proclaim Jesus to be a sinner, as the purpose of John´s baptism was "forgiveness of sins"!! That´s something you don´t hear in church!

The Gospel of Mark should have been listed first in the New Testament, as it is oldest of the four Canonical Gospels. But the church didn’t want your introduction to Jesus to be a proclamation of Jesus´ sinfulness, so the Nicene Council moved Mark back to “Chapter 2” of the New Testament.
