I saw the same on T CP, and asked what conclusions we draw from this? Is the bacteria a result of natural forces at work? Artificially created spreads from corexit or what? On its simplest level it aint good! A large company called Saphire has just made a very large scale algae production plant in New Mexico for production of synthesised fuels. Is this the first step towards turning the entire GoM in to an algae plant as 6 String Woodie said they would? Toxify it to the point where no life exists or can be near, close it off at Florida and Mexico, and make one giant algae plant to make fuels not tainted by the organism, or Gaia's defense mechanisms.
