[quote:Anonymous Coward 15456734:MV8xMTEzNTg2XzMyOTIwMDMwX0NEODI1QUVF] [quote:Anonymous Coward 21671818:MV8xMTEzNTg2XzMyOTE4NzA1XzExOUVCOTE4] what has this to do with our submarine?
Well, the subs are really the only covert way that foreign nations could get a look at the damage to the sea floor. If something other than the fractured sea floor and the spewing oil was discovered, which led to the bezerk warning, then the subs were the 'front' to which the phenominon were observed. If the Frenchies did try to take away some of the organism, or as I am starting to think, the same liquid that is beneath the ice in Lake Vostok which is able to create life from pretty much anything, then who ever was guarding the site, would possibly have tried to stop removal. The small poll I did, which asked a few different questions on what the organism was, came up as a healing fluid used by the Earth to rectify problems as the leading idea. Now that might have been because those who thought differently, had left the building, or only those who thought this way cared enough to vote! Not sure, but that is what leads me to think that the trinity of salt dome, oil and aquifer (oh, and strata) may not be so much about the oil, and be more about the... err... fountain of youth so to speak down there. Turning in to gold? (hence AUgie McMidas) using nano gold to morph inanimate objects in to living creatures, using the base water? Maybe. Lake Vostok has gone really quiet. Surely they would have told the world by now about their findings? Maybe they just need better writers like aco' to write for them?
