[quote:Hans The Magnificent:MV8xMTEzNTg2XzE4NzE1NTE2X0JDM0RFQzEz] Quote:There is going to be nowhere to bug out. There is going to be no safe haven. What we have and where we are at the time of the peak of this new event is where we will make our last stand. We have no saviors, we have only our sisters and brothers to look to. Perhaps those memes, and themes Clif referred to are right here on this site, and we have yet to see them. That is true about "No safe haven" Growing up I heard many stories about WWII bombing. First the windows would rattle, then it got louder... The airplanes were wing on wing dropping a line of bombs as far as you could see right or left. There was no place to run to. My aunt had a friend who lived in Dresden. Dresden was where the allies bombed the crap out of it. They bombed it down to glowing embers and rubble, then they came back and bombed the rubble. My family lived in Dannstadt which escaped most of that since producing sauerkraut was apparently not considered a vital war industry. I was at my aunt's house when this friend was also there. A fire truck went past with siren blasting. This woman had a total meltdown. It took several hours to get her calmed down. This was some forty years after the war. Back to the question: Where do we run to? :peace:
