Original Message If somthing wacky happens that takes out electrical equipment, it is going to take out the generators too. That means no water.

Im on a water well and actively looking for the best manual pump I can get.

I bet a lot of people who are in homes with wells for the first time forget that if they have no electric, they also have no water because they are used to getting water from the city or town.

After I got the pump I would start looking for whole house generators next.
