I actually found this on Craigslist in the rant and raves section, I thought it was good information and should be shared here.
"The Corexit problem and how to detoxify corexit from your body:
Please don't flag this post. This is very important information. Thanks to BP, in a short time, rainfall all across the gulf and New England will contain a toxic mix of chemicals unlike anything mankind has ever experienced. In addition to the oil and methane, BP has dumped 1.4 million gallons of COREXIT, a toxic chemcial dispersant into the gulf. Hurricanes will pick up lots of the mix and dump it everywhere.

How many will get sick? How many will die? What can you do?
I have no idea what this will do to soil conditions. As an alternative healer, detox expert and nutritionist, I do know how you can protect your body and detoxify corexit and petro-chemicals from your body.
1. Reduce exposure- stay out of the rain, move away if possible.
2. Protect your liver- many herbs and vitamins can improve your liver's detox response and protect the cells from toxic harm.
-milk thistle, turmeric, schizandra, reishi mushroom, MSM or any sulfur compounds
3. B-vitamins, Vitamin C, selenium, N-Acetyl cysteine all help liver function and detox
4. Eat a lot of cruciferous vegetables. Eg broccoli, cauliflower, kale, cabbage, mustard greens
5. Eat live fermented food and take a probiotic supplement. If you can get RAW sauerkraut or miso paste they are excellent! Also, Renew brand makes shelf stable probiotics that don't need refrigeration
6. SWEAT YOUR ASS OFF in a DRY sauna. This is the most important of all and can remove any chemical from your body. Do yourself a favor, and for your family, get a home sauna today.
