[quote:Anonymous Coward 9231012:MV8xMTQ0MDk4XzMzNzA5NDU4X0I3OEI1QkZF] I actually thought I had skin mites a few years back and my Doctor gave me a systemic wormer called Strolmectol 3mg one pill for a week and my skin cleared up but I also began coughing crap out of my lungs, Doc tested and saw no lung worms but he did inform me during the conversation that human's can get the animal form of Heart worms from mosquitoes. I did not have any spots on my lungs and he figured the coughing was just my allergies since it was ragweed season and I seriously allergic to ragweed. About heartworms in humans: Our bodies are much bigger than most animals so the heart worms wind up in out lungs and not heart, in the lungs the worms usually get encased by our immune tissue and can show up as spots in an xray. After that you CAN wind up getting expensive biopsies and cancer scares when it could be just a heart worm nodule in your lung. People breath a great sigh of relief when the biopsy is negative but they don't realize they have just been shilled for a huge amount of money because eventually a body will digest the encased heart worm. I just found out I have all kinds of parasites from going to a natureopath. Talk about expensive! It was $325 and I didn't get the meds for all the parasites I have yet.
One of them is lung worm. I've had severe asthma for 2 years. I think they are the cause.
Help! and Ewwwwww!
