Original Message
Hi there!
On Central Vancouver Island we're having an odd sort of day. VERY hazy and humid, and the sunlight is odd, a sort of brownish-orange that brings out yellows and browns very starkly.
Even my mother-in-law, of all people, commented that the sun looked VERY odd this morning, more dark orange than anything, but VERY bright.
I'm trying to figure out if we're getting a smoke haze from the wildfires in the Interior, as that would make sense (sort of smells smoky too) but I can't find any information or facts to prove or disprove this. Anyone in the lower mainland / Van Isle seeing this effect?
Thanks in advance!
