this dude seemed non-existent before the GoM disaster. You can't find a phone number to his business or any sign of his business.

I set the parameters for a Google search to range from Aug 1, 1988 through Jan 1, 2010 and there's NOTHING mentioned about this dude and his alleged boat/shrimping/business.

I'm getting the feeling that this dude is a shill. The only pictures I can find of him is here:

There's a "Brian Amos" on Facebook. It looks like the same person from the above photo. I'm not sure where HE'S from (unlisted), but most of his friends (who appear to be family) are from BP's homeland, England.

Is it common for people from the UK to have shrimping boats in the GoM?

Can anyone verify how Brian Amos is associated with The Rolling Thunder? Is it possible that he rented the boat for a photo op and subsequent quotation, "No tar balls, nothing"?
