[quote:Anonymous Coward 849986:MV8xMTgzMzY4XzE5MTc5NTM3XzQxNjA1REEz] if it runs ME it should handle XP. then you have a better chance of supported hardware... ME was a joke. a bad one.. windows ME will crash all by itself. like a built in feature. just be sittin there all happy with a screensaver and then POOF. its gone... might as well go back to 98. hell even 95, 3.11 is better than ME. Ok, I dug out a laptop for my son to use while he is at my house.
It has a set of fax modems, thats how old it is....
Is there any way I can configure the USB port to carry the internet from the USB on my computer?
I just dont want to go buy a new wireless card, or modem for a 10 year old laptop, thats all.
Hes only 9 and just wants to play some gammes and stuff.
It has windows M/E on it, 2 USB ports, serial ports, etc...no cat5/ethernet plugs, so I figured the USB may be the best bet for this?
