That was Lincoln´s point. His objective was to get the emancipation through, not write a pretty peom on racial harmony you nitwit. We´re talking about civil war here. The Northern states were not about to fight the South over slavery. Lincoln set the country on fire, as it was, because of this emancipation yet somehow that´s not good enough for the mighty African from Illinois.
