Original Message I like a good conspiracy as well as the next guy, but reading all of these wacky posts just wears on me sometimes...

I'm amazed - but maybe I shouldn't be - when a conspiracy theory has severe logic flaws, yet it persists, even when those are pointed out.

The Bezerk/Chinese briefcase thread is an example. Now they have appropriated an old X-Files story line, and no one seems to notice. Remember the "black oil?" It was sentient and alien... I guess someone remembered it and pulled it in when things got slow, lol. Someone may get them for copyright infringement if they can't be more original.

None of it makes sense - but like a giant amoeba it sucks in whatever else comes up, and keeps on going.

Anyway, it reads like bad fiction. Because IT IS bad fiction. I'd comment on the thread, but the OP would just delete the comment, so here is my thread. What do you think?
