I was just wondering how many have tried this diet and how has it worked out. I just fasted for 4 days and have been 90% raw for 2 days now. I plan on continuing this for 30 days to see if it helps with my depression and lack of energy. I typically eat the standard american diet of pretty much nothing but processed meat, high sugar, salty food, and junk food with very little vegetables or fruits.
I've noticed some changes so far, such as clearer skin, a little more energy, and almost odorless bowel movements. Detox hasn't really been that severe so far. I have noticed a slight increase in body odor which is strange because I usually have almost no smell. Hopefully it is just part of the process of releasing toxins.
I am still skeptical about this diet and its benefits, so is there anyone out there that could share their experiences and tell me if it is worth the effort? Thanks.
