Original Message I have a TRAC PHONE. Paid cash for it as well as the minutes for it. The idea for the purchase was for anonimity should the unthinkable happen in the future.

I didn't like everything I was hearing about my Verizon cell phone being able to keep track of my whereabouts and pinpointing my location when TSHTF. Also, I was experiencing some strange activity with my old cell phone account (strange messages, strange third party "noises" when talking to individuals about certain topics, etc.)

However, something strange happened yesterday. I received a text message from the TRAC Phone company. The message said "We would like to honor your Birthday by giving you a gift of 30 additional minutes when you add any minutes of 120 or more before 11/30. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Cash for the phone, cash for the minutes, none of my personal information attributed to this phone...HOW IN THE HELL DID THEY KNOW IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!?!
