Original Message Were the Mystery Missiles Launched to Destroy Large Incoming Meteors/Fireballs?

I think the TWELVE missiles that have been launched over or around the U.S. AND Canada Nov. 8th-Nov. 12th (with no report of associated damage caused on the ground) have been launched not as a show of power, but to break up the large incoming meteors/fireballs before they impact U.S. or Canadian territory intact.

Large meteors/fireballs are entering Earth's atmosphere and endangering populations on the surface with a startling increase in frequency. Here are two examples:

Fireball Over Victoriaville QC Canada 23rd October 2010

Port Colborne, Canada Oct. 16, 2010

Are the mystery missiles that have been launched breaking up the very LARGEST of the incoming meteors/fireballs high in Earth's atmosphere before they impact those on the surface?

Is this why we haven't heard of any damage on the ground being caused by the launching of any of these missiles?
(the missiles never land)

Yesterday alone, in a span of very few hours, FOUR major meteors/fireballs entered Earth's atmosphere to impact the following areas:

Netherlands (“massive meteor fireball”); begin video at 2:19

Baltimore, Maryland and York, Pennsylvania

Serbia/Macedonia (“came in with a horrific boom”)
A picture of the fireball is on the video at 1:09.

Here is a list of the TWELVE mystery missiles that have been launched (11/8-11/12) and their launch dates with links to videos, pictures, and supporting commentary and/or reports:
