[quote:Anonymous Coward 1148593:MV8xMjYzOTkyXzIwNjM5NDUxX0I4MDI1MkY4] [quote:Anonymous Coward 1164439] You are right, pure isn't the best choice of words. Harmonious may have been more appropriate. And thank you for your point about duality. Shame and grace may be one such duality for young mind to ponder. However, of late, I am more consumed with another duality: Cruelty and Kindness. I have become more aware that cruelty serves a purpose (for young minds maybe), it is 'the stick' that hold together society, while kindness is the carrot. This may seem obvious to most, but to an outsider like myself, it is a revelation. Please elaborate on this point, if you don't mind.
Hi, not sure I'm the best person to ask, just feeling around in the dark really. But as the other poster expressed, duality can be a real distraction. Peace of mind often comes when you transcend or bring opposites together. This whole age may just be about duality. Good v Evil etc. And the way to end it will be to bring an end to duality. If you are asking specifically about the cruelty thing, well, it's just that previously I saw all cruelty as vile and immoral, but now I see that it serves a purpose. It is one way that individuals build trust in each other. All be it a crude way. It seems, to take, and give a little bit of cruelty is strangely reassuring to some people. However, if you are so far out in the fringes of society, cruelty only seems to just push you out even further. But now I see that much of that cruelty wasn't personal, it was a clumsy, misguided attempt to reach out and bring me into the fold. re
Fighting distraction is the heart of the matter. Your focus will be your reality.
Those without shame can see themselves with clarity.
Those that carry shame cannot face the sight of themselves. The third eye.
