The 10 guides of the Georgia Guidestones are written on 8 stones in 8 different languages: English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, and Russian.
Along the top of the guidestones, "a shorter message is written along the top of the structure in 4 languages's scripts: Babylonian, Classical Greek, Sanskrit, and Egyptian hieroglyphs." - wiki
Does anyone know what the ancient language messages are?
Also, in what order do the ancient language messages appear in conjunction to the modern language stones - what i mean is, for instance, what are the modern language messages on the left and right side of (say) the Babylonian message?
Anyone have any idea why the 8 modern languages were chosen to represent the stones?
I don't know much about the topic but its really caught my attention and would love to learn more about it. If anyone has any good links or sources, especially on the topic of deciphering the languages, I would really appreciate it.
I was initially surprised that German isn't incorporated within the stones - considering it is widely used within the European Union, but then again, of the 8 languages chosen, English is a Germanic language. All the 8 modern languages selected are incorporated from different language families.
