[quote:Ervin 33849311:MV8xMjczMjk5XzM1OTY4MjgxXzJDNDlCNzE=] For an individual who goes full time to college has to work at least 20 hr a week. It sounds stupid, but I have tried it today and got rejected. I live by myself and lost my job 2 days ago, and I do not receive any unemployment yet. The lady explained to me the above named reason.:bump: [/quote]

My mother was talking to a neighbor who went to see if
why she gets some food stamps but her son doesn't, he lives
with her and is 20 and goes to college( scholarship ) but is
not eligible.
Supposedly now if you're a son or relative of a person in
food stamp program then other things apply,
unless you have a job( part time/full, it must be 20 hours
atleast) you do not get food stamps support.
Does that make any sense?, why would you need food stamps
support if you got a job?, isn't food stamps for people who
do not have a job and need food to live?.
