[quote:Anonymous Coward 1164247:MV8xMjc1NjU1XzIwODc5NjM0X0Y1ODQzQTRC] Try correcting your kid's vitamin D deficiency. Every single autistic kid that has been tested for vitamin D turns out to be very low. Get it to the upper range of optimal range (70-80 ng/ml) and you will notice improved behavior. http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/health/autism/autism-information.shtml READ EVERYTHING ON THAT WEBSITE! Theory about vitamin D and autistic by Dr Cannell sure made a lot of sense. Also read those case reports about how much they improved on high dose vitamin D. Your kid probably needs 4000-5000 IU of vitamin D a day. You can get it pretty cheap at vitacost.com (NSI brand). 20 bucks a year. That will save you tens of thousands of dollars, even hundreds of thousands in the long run because vitamin D deficiency affect everything in your body - 17 varieties of cancer as well as heart disease, stroke, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, diabetes, depression, chronic pain, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, muscle weakness, muscle wasting, birth defects, periodontal disease, and more. The asshole that I married and still trying to divorce decided to put all my kids in school. My youngest is Autistic and started school in August. His behavior has become sooooo much worse than before entering school. He's much more angry and aggressive all the time now. He acts out at school by hitting, kicking, spitting, running, etc.
About 2 weeks ago I asked the principal to recommend that he be removed from school since I am forbidden from removing him at the present time by the Temporary Orders of the divorce. She said she couldn't do that as she must accomodate him and provide what he needs.
BUT she also said that the laws change once he turns 10, and that he can be charged with assault.
My son turned 10 the 26th of Nov.
I started looking on the internet and found many stories.
WTF kind of people would charge autistic children with assault?
What does this say about society?
Like it wasn't fucked up enough...now this?
Here's some stories...
