This is the whole point. The lights are easily timed.

But mostly ----------->They ain't.

What cranks me off is where they've got 50 cars waiting and guess what, ALL the lights are red. You could get out and have a fucking picknic in the road.

And speaking of stupid, how about your average WalMart parking lot? Why in hell do we have to drive up to the front door, wait for pedestrians,,,,,,,,,,,,wait for pedestrians,,,,,,,,,,,wait for carts,,,,,,,wait for BillyBob to pick up his girl friend and THEN go park in the goddamn parking lot WE JUST DROVE BY!?!?!?!?!

Original Message We can send a man to the freekin' moon (can't we) but we can't time the traffic lights to make traffic flow smoother, thereby increasing overall productivity?

It actually seems that most of the lights are timed so as soon as you get a green light - the next one turns red in a stop and go - go and stop routine!
