A few months ago I took half a cut of shrooms with some friends, had a beautifully transcendent time and, like I always do with the mushrooms, at one point I meditated in silence. I started feeling this increasing feeling of overwhelming positivity, like out of nowhere I just felt absolute ecstasy. I had unconsciously opened my mouth in awe in the process, and then I heard what sounded like a metallic noise coming from all around me. Electronic, metallic crickets, something that I could not readily identify, and it felt like it surrounded me in all directions and could be heard all throughout the forest. Then, I thought "this is how abductions happen", and for better or worse, I went back to my friends.
Was this an encounter, or just the shrooms, or both?
