Original Message In Japanese what you call the "Statue of Liberty" is called "juyu no megami" which means "Goddess of Freedom." Same in Chinese. These are old translations, from when the statue was fist put it up in the New York (1800s?).

But in Christianity there is no goddess. US is (was?) primary Christian country.

So, please explain what this is about. Thanks.
