[quote:Anonymous Coward 1209211:MV8xMzAxOTg2XzIxMzIyNjcwX0I2Q0JBOUI=] [quote:Anonymous Coward 989174] They were both having a psychotic episode. That's why they were impervious to the pain of their injuries. Learn some psychiatry. It can make you stop feeling pain. Yes, I forget the name of the mental condition but it was described as a contagious mental illness. One twin was mentally ill and the other one got mentally ill because of the first. Very strange. The murdering twin was declared mentally ill at the time of the murder but was 100% sane at the time of her sentencing. If my memory serves me correctly she received only 5 years for murder and will serve only 2 of those years, and will be released in 2011. Shocking!
Yes. The psychiatrist was not sure whether it was folie a deux (shared psychosis) or temporary madness. I think it was the former and the sick twin somehow induced her own psychotic state in her sister when she visited her. I believe it is like the well-known phenomenon of twins sometimes experiencing the same feelings even though they are separated by hundreds of miles. It's like as if twins can behave sometimes as though they share the same mind. The one living in Sweden who eventually stabbed a man had had a very tough childhood. Did suppressed emotions rise to the surface when she met her sister?
