Original Message There have been a few discussions around in various threads about cinnamon. I just thought I'd post this, because I see a statement often... "I tried cinnamon" or "I use cinnamon" and it "did nothing for me."

A lot of ground cinnamon sold in stores isn't cinnamon at all. It's simply flavored sawdust.

So if you're looking to use "therapeutic" cinnamon, this is my [not intended to diagnose, cure, heal, yada yada] suggestion:

Get cinnamon sticks, and grind them up in a little mini coffee grinder or something.

Hope that helps clear up a little confusion for some folks.
