Original Message Hmm, there are rather a lot to choose from but let's start at Exodus, my favourite silly scene; the parting of the sea.

Exodus 15:8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea

^ Ummm WTF?

Next we have a good one from Leviticus about people with flat noses who must stay away from the altar.

Leviticus 21:18 For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous

^ Really? This stuff is so funny you just couldn't make it up.

Now this is truly magnificent, the God fellow makes the sun stop 'moving'.

Joshua 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

But we modern humans know that it's the Earth that orbits the sun, do we not? So this God fellow is so stupid he can't even comprehend basic orbital mechanics? 1rof1

This one is really silly.

Kings 20:30 But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; and there a wall fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And Benhadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner chamber.

Umm, a wall, a single wall crushed twenty seven thousand people? Hmm, methinks someone is exaggerating again.

Finally we come to Proverbs. This one isn't so much absurd as it is dumb.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

The lesson? Don't think for yourself, let God do it for you.

That's all for today folks. And for those who say 'why aren't you doing Islam?' don't worry, I'll do that tomorrow.

Goodly bye xXx
