NASA films the Shuttle and ISS in a Studio.
The Shuttle is a model toy in a vise before a blue screen, like in Hollywood. The footage shot by the U2 airplane is played in the background, and then the studio production team does the superimposing and editing needed, like cropping!

The Space Shuttle, after lift-off, after the Rocket boosters are ejected, after the massive Fuel tank that propels the Shuttle even higher is jettison, after the Shuttle itself has used up all the forward momentum built up, then, and only then, does this marvel fall back to earth at the rate of constant "free-fall" towards Easter island where President Ronald Reagan built the landing strip in hast before the first Shuttle program back in the 80's.
Reaction Control System (RCS) or front thrusters at the nose of the Shuttle are only at the front and not at the rear, because only the front thrusters are needed for this adult Walt-Disney production. The front thrusters lift the nose of the Shuttle during "freefall" to decrease the rate of "freefall" and leveling the craft so the film team and cameras on tripods are still to create the ILLUSION of static Space and also for more time being allotted to the segments filmed.

If NASA wants to spend 100's of BILLIONS of dollars on their fantasy, thats okay, its their choice and the LORD allows freewill.
But telling GLP that they're passing it off as "real science" when its absolutely FICTION was my choice, my freewill.
I hope this puts to rest all the stupid threads of orbits, ROUND earth, telescopes filming colorless Hydrogen planets in the DARK of outer-space without a Flash for the exquisite COLOR definition, the solar flares filaments nonsense, Probes on Mars, magnetoscope frauds, and stops the Flat earth from spinning round and round from under your feet.
Its time to grow up.
