[quote:Anonymous Coward 7181897:MV8xMzcxMjU1XzI4NjYxMzQxXzQ3MTEzRUEx] So, you believe 'ancient buiders' used our current Lat/Long system way back then? Isn't the speed of light determined by OUR measurements...how could you assume such things? [/quote]

With the latitude of the grand gallery in the pyramid being 29.9792458 N and the speed of light being 299792458 m/sec, isnt this proof that they didnt build it? If the location of the grand gallery and latitude are correct, then that means that the pyramid was built there because of the location of that piece of land on earth. It wasnt built there because a pharoah looked out on the land and said I want it over there. The pyramid is built on the only place on earth where they could have used this to convey the speed of light. Am I to believe that the egyptians were just lucky enough to be living near this plot of land? I would believe that if there werent so many other mathematical and astronomical signs built into the pyramids. Whoever built this had to travel to this spot to do it. Either the ancestors of the egyptians helped build the pyramids and then stayed and built their culture around the pyramid or the egyptians settled next to it and incorporated the pyramid into their culture. Or is it possible I have no idea what im talking about? lol
