State Farm Homeowners Insurance trying to pull a fast one
Attention all homeowners who insure their home with State Farm in the midwest. READ YOUR BILL CAREFULLY. If you have an escrow account that pays your homeowners insurance, GET A COPY OF IT! DO NOT IGNORE!! Your coverage will change without your knowledge.
State Farm is UNILATERALLY changing the deductible on all homeowners policies that have the EARTHQUAKE coverage. Normally, 10% of the replacement value is the deductible. State Farm is changing this to 20% UNLESS you pay an additional premium to keep it at a 10% deductible.
