I think you are missinterpreting consent and love with animalistic intention that is present in both sexes regardless of sexuality.  I think that all humas have definitions of the bestial and the consentual in varying degrees.  Most offence towards homosexuality as being immoral is no different as heterosexual immorality or animialstic behavior if used as a power tip or to abuse.  The difference being consentual and complete love for another where the animalistic becomes absolved.  If you want to judge another by your own standards then you so shall be judged as the pharisee who though they felt righteous compared to the tax payer who was humbled.  be careful between what you call bestial and animalistic....you are using a very large brush that covers all humanity and have no consideration that only God can judge the heart of man or woman.

If man and woman were always meant to procreate the most families would have 10's of twenties of children.  Do you think that married cpoupes only copulate when the want a child, or do they try to avoid pregnancy on occasion.  Count how many times you have had sex vs how many kids you have (for the virle).  I know many Irish catholics that have more sex than children, and they dont want more....which biblically is bestial.

After years of being bombarded with pro-gay and anti-gay opinions in media and elsewhere, I still don't comprehend the issue. And frankly getting tired about it when there are far more important matters in the world in my opinion.

So I did some quick research to see what the fuss is all about, but still could not come to a conclusion based on reason.

It seems homosexuals claim it is by birth, while anti-gays claim it is a choice. Did I get that right? Don't scientists know the answer to this?

So what is homosexuality exactly? Can someone kindly explain.

- is a gay person born that way so they are not sexually attracted to the opposite sex from a young age?

- are there any straight people turning gay later in life?

Personally, I can never imagine myself with another man at any point in my life. I feel nauseous even thinking about it.

I cannot fathom any straight person 'choosing' to be with the same sex.

So if homosexuality is by birth, shouldn't it be considered a type of mental disorder (which is nothing to be ashamed of or prejudiced)? I don't mean any disrespect when I ask this, I only want to comprehend the issue because nobody really explains exactly what homosexuality is, only preach what their views are.
