NASA places a high priority on tracking asteroids and protecting our home planet from them. This flyby will provide a unique opportunity for researchers to study a near-Earth object up close. The half-hour broadcast from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif., will incorporate real-time animation to show the location of the asteroid in relation to Earth, along with live or near real-time views of the asteroid from observatories in Australia, weather permitting. http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.php?release=2013-059&cid=release_2013-059&msource=2013059 Links to live video streams are at the above master link. The SLOOH web-based space camera will also be streaming from the Canary Islands tomorrow: http://events.slooh.com/ [/quote] Hugh I've been going back and pulling alot of your posts out for site collection.
