[quote:PeachCupcake 25613077:MV8xNDEwMzM5XzM5MDMxNTgxXzRDMzQ5MUQz] I see this thread is old, but since I have been looking up this subject I came across it. yes, this has been happening to me for like most of the year. I started to become afraid of dreams after I had a weird fainting spell where I was half awake, half falling asleep last summer. because of it, I went to the hospital to get checked out. All they could find wrong with me was dehydration and a slight infection, and basically diagnosed me as having a panic attack. I've never fainted ever in my life before so I keep wondering just what happened for sure that day cause there seem to be no answers really. I simply can't remember. one minute I was standing on the sidewalk after a hot summer's walk, and the next, I felt suddenly very confused and somehow got myself home in a panic, it was all a blur.. I still haven't gotten over it. but since that day, I seem to have these random memory pops of dreams, and I know it comes from anxiety. I have been anxious so much of the time lately, and recalling old dreams happens frequently, sometimes when I'm trying to concentrate on a task that's hard, or when I am trying to fall asleep but can't. and boom! I just get a flash back of dreams that I don't even remember having.. it simply makes me uncomfortable. It's like my mind knows just where to target me to feel upset or something. I really hate it. I know that this is a neurotic thing, because I used to imagine knives cutting me or people I loved whenever I would see a knife, it would like trigger these almost violent thoughts and they would come in the back of my head when I was feeling anxious or tired. It's so annoying. but eventually I figured out what was happening, it was part of anxiety. and since, the fear of knives haven't bothered me.. but this random dream memory recalls won't seem to go away. For a few weeks now, I have been recalling dreams that I had in months and years past clear as day. For instance, I can just be in my own little world or talking with someone, and into my mind pops a dream from last summer and there I go seeing it in fresh detail. I wonder if anyone else has been experiencing the same? What could it be about?
