i think i found a HUMAN BONE IN MY BACKYARD!!!! what do i do?

so last summer my roommate and i wanted to dig out
a koi pond in the way back of our backyard. this is the house i grew up in, built in the 50's, before that it was
just a barren hill. we dug down about 3ft when we saw
a bone. it looks like a lower leg or arm bone. its broken.
we didnt go any further. its under a very old fig tree, that the original owner said "came with the house", he
said he made sure his property line included the old tree.
he was the first land owner on the hill, later to be the
largest landowner in town. yes my house is haunted by him,
but thats no biggie. some psycics say theres a little girl spirit in my house, but ive never seen her. igrew up here so all the craziness is normal but it freaks out my friends.
but what do i do about the bone? its just sitting in my
china closet. should i rebury it? should i call the police?
mr. peck, the guy who lived here before my family is
dead, so whats the point, right? or do i have some cosmic obligation to solve the case?
