Some of you may have heard of this name before and most of you probably haven't. Fact is that in 1977 this young brilliant individual have invented a vapor-fuel intake system that enabled a car to travel astonishingly up to 100\Miles on one gallon of gas. This have been sensational news for car and oil industries and within a year Tom was visited by a representative from Shell Oil who offered him up to $20 million on the spot. However, Tom respectfully refused to accept the general offer since he knew if he sells his invention it will never see the sunlight. 3 years later Tom was found dead in his apartment from an apparent overdose and alcohol poisoning. Theories speculate that Shell Oil was behind this murder and made it look like an accident. Not surprisingly Toms original schematics and blueprints went missing and only few of them have been recovered and posted online.
