I don't think his mother Ann Dunham was married when she had the baby. This is a bit strange when you think about it.

Obama would probably be the first US president to have been an illegitimate child, if you examine the historical records. All the other POTUSAs had mothers who were married at the time of their births.

It's funny because in the old days, illegitimate males were called ''bastards''.
