Gov't/military officials would never deliberately kill him if they are being honest about him and their own intent, as it would only make him a martyr, incite anger, violent retribution, abet evangelization of militant Islamic extremism, and undermine their "war on terror."
If this is a war we are fighting, and make no mistake about it,this war against terror is a war, but fundamentally the fight is against an idea, therefore tactics and strategies are formulated and scrutinized before implementation by very capable tanks filled with able bodied minds.
These unfortunate consequences are seemingly inevitable effects, but they were certainly foreseeable. Did they not foresee this simple truth, do they not care about well thought out strategy in a war costing tax payers trillions of dollars, causing much unnecessary suffering, as well as that priceless and invaluable sacrifice-Human Life, or are their intentions not necessarily as they seem?
