[quote:Anonymous Coward 982522:MV8xNDc5MDg4XzI0MzYwOTc4XzI0RjU0OEVE] I lost my mother in 1999 to ovarian cancer. I am a child of the 50's my mother was the typical beautiful perfect Mom, a mixture between Donna Reed and Lucille Ball, Later in life she was Betty White in looks and dress.. Women from those days of depression, WW11.. were amazing, strong, yet feminine, always willing to smile and cheer people up. They took pride in being presentable no matter what time of day, devoted to their familys church PTA... I not only miss her but I miss those good ole days when women were real women not sluts. My mother died in '98. I still miss her so much. Mother's Day to me is just a farce! And, yes, I am a mother.
