Original Message This sounds like a conspiracy to me by TV manufacturer Samsung to force people into buying new TVs. Seems that their capacitors on the LCD TVs blew after 1 - 3 years, requiring a trained tech to replace them; well my LED TV that I got six months ago just blew a capacitor. It clicks trying to come on endlessly. Its dead. This is BS. There are numerous problems with there TVs

DO NOT BUY ONE, and if you have one you purchased recently I heard they are repairing this problem for free because they are currently being sued for it. DO NOT PAY FOR THE REPAIR WORK!

These are older threads on it, but the problem is now proven to exist in the LED TVs, and probably in the 3D TVs as well. Bad capacitors. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!

Apparently, the link to the class action suit is now dead because it was started in 2010. They must have settled. The now need a new suit for the LED TVs, because this one died after only 6 months! BASTARDS!
