Original Message "The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, one is, the other is not yet come, and when he comes, he must continue a short time. "Revelation 17:9, 10.

According to the text, the seven heads of the beast, and represent seven mountains are seven kings. Notice he said that the seven heads represent seven hills, and found that, in fact, they represent the seven hills of Rome literal, where the Catholic Church rests. Thus, as we see the angel say that they represent seven kings, it is natural to understand that the angel refers to seven kings literal, literal seven men who have the title "king." Who are they? In the symbolism of view, they correspond to the heads of the beast. The beast, as we have seen, represents the union of the Catholic Church with the state to pursue and kill the saints. Who played the "head" of this union in the past? A historic landmark will help us understand:
"At a time when religious power was often confused with the real power, Pope Gregory IX on 20 April 1233, published two leaflets to mark the resumption of the Inquisition. In the following centuries, it dismissed, acquitted or convicted and handed to the State (which applied the "penalty", as was common at the time) several of his enemies propagators of heresy. According to the story, who "judged and condemned" the saints, called heretics, was the church. She then directed them to the state, who was serving a sentence she had given, applying the death penalty - death. The state was subordinate to the church. Thus, this union called the beast, the institution which played the command was the church. This is where we find men who are the heads of the beast, once the head is what controls the body. In the reference above, we saw that it was the "pope", through the issue of two bulls, who ordered the resumption of the court of the Inquisition. It is known that the Catholic Church has since then until today only one visible head, "the pope." It was the pope who was fulfilling the role as head of the union "church - state" called the "beast" in prophecy. The seven heads of the beast, then, represent seven popes.
The angel said that the seven heads are "seven kings." The seven popes represented in the symbolism of prophecy should therefore also have, each, the title of "king." All popes, as such, have several titles, such as Vicarivs Filli Dei, the blasphemous title that means "Vicar," or "Substitute the Son of God," among others. However, history tells that not all popes had the title of king. To a person has the title of king, it must be head of state of a country with monarchical system of government. The Roman Catholic Church for many centuries existed as a church, but not as a country. According to the story, she became a country, an independent state, a few decades ago:

"The Vatican is the smallest country in the world, with 0.44 square kilometers, and became a state in February 1929 when ... signed the Lateran Treaty. Under the agreement, Italy recognized the sovereignty of the pope on the new state. "Source: Folha Online, 09/04/2007 (emphasis and italics added).

The source information is confirmed by the Vatican itself:
"I am a student from Brazil and I'm participating in a work of historical content where I need to know the year that the Pope received the title" Sovereign of the Vatican "(It would have some relation to the Lateran treaty?). I think this information is easy to read for Mrs. Please return me because I need this information to complete the job.

So long I gratefully

Alexander J. Freitas "

Response by the person in charge of the Vatican - Ms. Enza Dermis:

'The Italian State recognized the Pope the title of Sovereign of the Vatican in 1929 with the Treaty of Lateran.

Sincerely Enza Dermis' (Emphasis added.) "Source: Seven Kings, pg. 25

According to the above references, the country of the Vatican was established in 1929 when the treaty was signed Lateran. Since then, the Popes have been given the title "Sovereign of the Vatican." The Vatican was established with a system of monarchical government in which the sovereign, the pope is the king:
"And the Roman Catholic Church is not and never was a democracy. It is best described as an absolute monarchy non-dynastic. The pope is probably the most sovereign powers meet on the planet, because its shares are not limited by any kind of Parliament, or "pro forma". Source:

Thus, since the country was established from the Vatican, from 1929, the popes have been given also the title of "king."
The angel revealed to John that the seven heads of the beast kings corresponded to seven, or seven popes who have also the title of kings. These therefore correspond to the popes who occupied the throne of the Vatican since it was established in 1929. Talking about these kings to John, the angel says:
"And there are seven kings: five are fallen, one is, the other is not yet come, and when he comes, he must continue a short time." Revelation 17: 10.
In time for which John is taken into view, "five have fallen" - five popes with the title of king has ended his reign. The first five popes who occupied the throne of the Vatican and thus has the title "king" since 1929, are:
"Five have fallen" (v.10)
Pope Duration of reign

1 - Pius XI 11.fev.29 the 10.fev.39

2 - Pius XII 02.mar.39 the 09.out.58

3 - John XXIII of the 28.out.19 03.jun.63

4 - Paul VI of the 21.jun.63 06.ago.78

5 - John Paul I in the 23.ago.78 28.set.78

According to the angel at the time of the revelation of the vision for a servant to John, "one is." At the Vatican, the office of pope's lifetime, or only a pope does not occupy the throne of the Vatican when he dies. The angel says five have already "fallen" died. Thus, the pope which is said to "exist" can not be none. It should then be what follows - the sixth pope with the title of king. History shows that the pope who followed John Paul I was Pope John Paul II. He is the sixth king of the prophecy.
John was taken by the angel to the time when the sixth king pope, John Paul II, "there". Likewise, this angel would reveal this prophecy to the servants of God in the time when John Paul II "exists", ie is in power. History proves that it actually occurred. The launch of "The Sixth King: 666 and the New World Order" by Dr. Robert N. Smith, Jr., MD in the U.S. in the 90s, featuring the heads of the beast of Revelation 17 as popes, and other similar publications, like the book "The Seven Kings" by Alceu Oliveira Filho, about the same subject launched in Brazil in mid 2000, when John Paul II was still on the throne of the Vatican, are documentary evidence that the understanding of this prophecy began to be given to the servants of God at the time of the sixth king. Consistent with the explanation the angel says:

"Another is not yet come, and when he comes, he must continue a short time" Revelation 17:10.
At the time that the prophecy was understood John Paul II was on the throne of the Vatican. He is the sixth of seven kings that correspond to the seven heads of the beast. The "other", which is still "not coming", it must refer to another who comes after John Paul II. Because it is the sixth king, the "other" who comes after him is the seventh king. We know that after the death of John Paul II, Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was elected pope, taking the name Benedict XVI in April 2005. He became, therefore, the seventh king, representing the seventh of the seven heads of the beast. The angel gives specific information on the duration of the reign of the seventh king "when he comes he must continue a little while." The news of the diaries published after the election of Pope Benedict XVI coincide with the story of the angel. We publish below one of them:
"Pope Benedict XVI predicted for himself a" short reign "20/04/2005 Source: ttp: / / www.correioweb.com.br/hotsites/papa/materias.htm?ultima=46 (emphasis added).

Coincidence or confirmation that the word of prophecy is being fulfilled? Judge you, reader, if we consider a coincidence that all the symbols of prophecy concerning women and the Beast, as we have seen so far, found fulfillment in history and that the pope Benedict XVI, the seventh, providing them a short reign, when the prophecy says that he just seventh, would last a short time. The fact that what was prophesied to this day was fulfilled, gives the believer the assurance that what was still not be sure.
How would this "short time" duration of the reign of Pope Benedict XVI? One would think that by this expression, only God wished to warn his people to the fact that this pope would be little time in power in order to be prepared, but had no intention of getting him to understand the exact duration of their reign, and therefore when it should end. However, before settling in our minds this idea, we read two texts that awaken us:

"Blessed be the name of God ... He changes times and seasons, removing kings and establishes kings "Daniel 2:20, 21

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing without first revealing His secret to His servants" Amos 3:7
According to the texts read above, it is God who removes the kings of the earth, and He does nothing without revealing His secret to His servants. He removes kings, but before doing so, reveals His secret to His servants. So it would be against God's will we seek to know when he will remove the king from the Vatican, Benedict XVI, the power? Surely, He will not do it without revealing to His servants. If we serve God, why He would not be willing to reveal it? By the word, we see that He is willing to do it. Knowing this, we are encouraged to pursue the study of prophecy in order to know when Benedict XVI will be removed from the throne of the papacy.
Seeking the answer in God's Word about how much is "little time" from the reign of Benedict XVI, we find a clue in Revelation 12:
"Woe to the land and sea because the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that his time is short." Revelation 12:12
According to the text, the devil came to earth knowing that "some time" you have left. The sequence of the text shows us how this "short time" represents:
"Therefore, when the dragon saw that he cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child and the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where is nourished for a time, times and half a time, out of sight of the snake. "Revelation 12:12-14
According to the above, the persecution of the dragon, which had little time for the woman, lasted "A time, times (equivalent to two times the original second) and half a time":
1 long + 2 ½ times + time = 3 and a half times.
I understand that the word "shortly" should therefore be equal to "three and a half times." In the book of Daniel, we find the meaning of the word "times":
"... And at the end of time, ie years ..." Daniel 11:13
Each "time" equals one year. So three and a half times are three and a half years. I consider that the expression "shortly" in Revelation 12, must be referring to three and a half years. Obviously, this study presents a hypothesis, but it is very striking that in Revelation 12 the "short time" that the dragon had, in which he pursued the woman, appears to be three and a half years. If so, the "short time" that will last the seventh king, Benedict XVI, in power, is three and a half years. Just then count three and half years from when he assumed the throne of the Vatican, and know when it will end his reign. Benedict XVI became king in April 2005:
