[quote:Tiger Maple:MV8xNTA2MzY3XzI0ODE5ODcyXzRGQThBRUZC] Hey Type II diabetic here...It's pretty simple actually. Lots of fresh salad and fresh veggies little bit of protein at each meal eat whole grains little bit of dairy If you want to ask questions and learn www.diabeticconnect.com it was a real lifesaver for me to learn from the experiences of other Type II diabetics brought my A1C from 10.5 down to 5.5 daily fasting blood glucose is always around 100-105 now. Exercise makes a HUGE difference in your Blood Glucose, it's beyond belief what a little exercise can do for diabetics and humans in general. Check out that site it will help solve the "what can I eat dilemma" [/quote]

I have finally started on insulin. My blood sugar has been high for several months now. Sooooooo I gave in to my doctor's advice. Does anyone have any thing positive to tell me? I'm hoping it makes me feel better as I have been feeling really tired for quite awhile now.
