[quote:nomuse (not logged in) 1372226:MV8xNTA3MTkzXzI0ODU1Njc3XzIxQjQ3REEw] On what basis do you reject Kaguya's findings of; A) Geography identical to that photographed FROM THE GROUND forty years before -- geography that could not have been known in that detail at the time without either roving photographers (aka the astronauts) or radar mapping of a quality unavailable at the time? B) Recent removal of surface layers in exactly the spots the landers occupied, in a way consistent with the descent engine, the described qualities of the lunar soil, and again the record of surface photography? Why are these footprints of the technology not acceptable, but images of a part of a spacecraft are? Isn't this like disbelieving in the existence of a radio station you can listen to the broadcasts of, measure the signal strength of, chart the coverage of, even look up the filed papers and logs of....until you have physically witnessed a truck with a station logo painted on it? I put it to you, that faking the shape of an LM descent stage in the appropriate location would be vastly simpler than faking the legions of other supporting data -- including, as an example, the Kaguya 3d mapping of the same terrain revealing details simply unknown even a decade before EXCEPT through the Apollo surface photography record. Why couldn't they aim all four of them on the Apollo Moon Landing sites using adaptive optics technology to prove the Apollo landers are in fact there.

This would be so cool and put an end to all those false rumors.
