Dont know what to make of this, the source is the university of Arizona and they just call it 'interesting crater', yeah no shit.
Direction of travel,velocity is top left to bottom right, an initial impact is clearly seen in the first elongated crater/scar and then a deeper terminal impact just after. Scattered beyond is a mixture of Lunar debris and black material of unknown origin. Looks just like a regular plane crash site here on earth just that this one is thousands of years old!
