Original Message There are vast efforts underway right now to prevent the coming pole shift, or reverse it once it begins. These efforts will be only partly successful so the shift will happen, but only half way. When it does, either the North or South pole will end up pointing directly at the Sun with the other pole pointing away. The consequences of this will be dire.

The pole that ends up facing the Sun will be determined by where in itīs orbit the Earth is. Or in other words, what time of year it is. If the shift happens between the vernal and autumnal equinoxes then the North pole will face the Sun. If the the shift happens between the autumnal and vernal equinoxes, then it will be the South pole facing the Sun. Either way, this will be catastrophic beyond comprehension.

Firstly, we will lose the concept of day and night. The sun-facing pole and hemisphere will experience perpetual daylight while the non sun-facing hemisphere will be in perpetual darkness. This will not change every six months the way the arctic regions do now because there will no longer be seasons.

Why is that? Picture what will be happening. The Earth will still be rotating in itīs 24 hour period, but it just wonīt matter. Because the pole will always be facing the Sun, the Sun will never set. It you were right on the pole, the Sun would appear directly over head all the time, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. It will be perpetual noon. If you are at 45 degrees latitude, then the Sun will just go around in a big circle from an apparent 9:00 am position to a 3:00 pm position and back again.

If you are located near the equator you will live in perpetual stormy twilight. Past the equator and itīs lights-out over the entire half of the globe. The dark half of the planet will quickly freeze and die.

The "top" (Sun facing hemisphere) of the planet will become a large desert. The polar ice will melt but this wonīt cause much of a rise in sea level because the melt water will refreeze on the "bottom" side of the planet. And as this is happening on a global scale over a period of years, this part of the process will go fairly smoothly.

But thatīs about all that will. The weather will be completely unpredictable for years, until ice shifts and things become stable again. The only area of the planet that will be conveniently habitable will be the Sun side near the equator, but that region will experience terrible storms as warm moist air from the Sun side and cold dry air from the night side intermix all the time.

The world will be an interesting place to say the least.
