[quote:Anonymous Coward 1412514:MV8xNTYzMDEzXzI1ODI0NzY5XzZCMjMzNzFB] I had some gambling "winnings" in the order of about $3000. But I also had losses which I would also report, offsetting them. So it may be that I owe if I don't report the losses. The times I have owed, it's like a few hundred dollars at the most. What would happen if I owe money? [/quote]

The deadline of april 15th (or 16th, or whatever, I can't remember) came and went this year, and I FAILED to file my tax returns.
Why? Pure laziness (and some annoyance at the whole process).
I also needed to get a copy of a tax document from an employer and that would have required me to make a few phone calls, and I didn't FEEL LIKE IT.
So now what?
I make $8.00 an hour and probably had a gross income of $15,000 last year, so I'd expect to get a refund.
What's going to happen to me? How long do I have? Can I just wait until next year to file two returns?
Or... should I just not file... ever again?
